O duelo entre William "Capitão Kirk" Shatner vs Chris "Capitão Kirk" Pine aconteceu devido a um documentário de nome "The Captains", filmando ano passado, que reúne todos os Capitães da "Enterprise", da Saga "Star Trek".
A foto foi um típico "desbloqueador de conversa" para Pine e o charme de Shatner explica o resto:
"He’s shy. So the way I started the interview, I put out a table and chairs outside the Paramount gates, and arm-wrestled with him. That was the beginning of my interview with him. I think it broke the ice, that’s for sure."
